Worrydolls Terms of Service

By using the Worrydolls app or purchasing Magic Mode (our premium tier), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Purchases and Apple Terms

All purchases of Magic Mode (the premium tier of Worrydolls) are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms and Conditions (available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) and Apple's refund policies.

By purchasing Magic Mode, you agree to comply with Apple's Terms and Conditions. These Terms supplement and work alongside Apple's terms. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's Terms and Conditions, Apple's terms shall prevail with respect to the purchase transaction itself.

These Terms govern your use of the Worrydolls app and Magic Mode premium features.

2. What Magic Mode Includes

Magic Mode is the premium tier of Worrydolls that unlocks additional features, which may include but are not limited to:

Adding photos and videos to your worries
Choosing your worrydoll
Adding stickers to your worrydoll
Creating your own worrydoll
Cloud sync functionality
Other premium features as they become available

The specific features included with Magic Mode may change over time as we add new capabilities or modify existing ones.

Additional Premium Tiers: We reserve the right to introduce additional premium tiers or add-ons in the future (such as AI-powered features, advanced storage, or other enhanced capabilities) that may require separate purchases beyond the base Magic Mode subscription or one-time purchase. Your Magic Mode purchase entitles you to the current premium features but does not guarantee access to all future premium offerings.

3. Cloud Sync Service

Purpose: Cloud sync is provided as a convenience feature for transferring your data between devices. It is not intended as a permanent cloud storage or backup solution. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data.

Storage Limits: Cloud sync is limited to 5GB of data per user. We reserve the right to modify this storage limit with 30 days advance notice.

Service Availability: Cloud sync availability and functionality are subject to change or discontinuation with 30 days notice. We do not guarantee permanent availability of cloud sync services.

Data Retention: We may delete inactive cloud data after a reasonable period. Do not rely on cloud sync as your only copy of important information.

4. Lifetime and One-Time Purchases

If you purchase a one-time "lifetime" or "permanent" unlock of Magic Mode:

"Lifetime" means for the lifetime of the app and service, not your personal lifetime
Access is provided as long as the app and Magic Mode service remain operational
We reserve the right to discontinue the app or Magic Mode features with 90 days advance notice
Feature availability and storage limits may be modified as described in these Terms

5. Subscription Purchases

If you purchase a subscription to Magic Mode:

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings
No refunds for partial subscription periods
We may change subscription pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

We will update the "Last Updated" date above
For material changes, we will provide notice through the app or via email (if available)
Continued use of Worrydolls or Magic Mode after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms
If you do not agree to modified Terms, you should stop using the app

Continued use of Worrydolls or Magic Mode after Terms are modified constitutes acceptance of the new Terms, including for one-time and lifetime purchases. For active subscriptions, modified Terms apply at the next renewal period.

7. Changes to Features and Services

We reserve the right to:

Add, modify, or remove Worrydolls features or Magic Mode premium features at any time
Change storage limits, service capabilities, or availability with reasonable notice
Discontinue Magic Mode or the entire Worrydolls app with 90 days advance notice

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Worrydolls, Magic Mode, and cloud sync services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

Data loss or corruption
Service interruptions or downtime
Loss of access to cloud-synced data
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

You use Magic Mode at your own risk and are responsible for maintaining backups of important data.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of Worrydolls and Magic Mode is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to Worrydolls or Magic Mode for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with or without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.
